a) Browsing data. Technical data generated by visiting the site (IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time of visit), used to run the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This data is kept only as long as needed for these purposes.

b) Analytics. Aggregated statistics on site usage, collected through analytics cookies only with your consent. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). See the Cookie Policy for details and how to withdraw consent.

c) Demo and contact requests. When you use "Book a Demo" or "Talk to an Expert", we collect your name, work email, company and the message you choose to write, to schedule the meeting and reply to your request. If you book through Calendly, Calendly also processes your name, email and the appointment details under its own privacy policy. Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)). Retention: 24 months from the last contact, unless a business relationship follows.

d) Data requests. When you use the Personal data request page, we process the data you provide to handle your request. Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Retention: 3 years from closure of the request, to document compliance.

Data is processed electronically, by personnel of Lifelike SA instructed for this purpose and by the service providers listed below. We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit and access controls. We do not take automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects based on website data, and we do not profile visitors.

Personal data may be processed on our behalf, under contract, by: the hosting provider of this website; the provider of the demo-booking service (Calendly LLC, USA); the analytics provider, if you consent to analytics cookies; IT and consulting firms supporting Lifelike under confidentiality obligations. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.

Lifelike SA is based in Switzerland. Data may be processed in the European Union and, for some providers, in the United States. Transfers from Switzerland to the EU/EEA rely on the adequacy recognized by the Swiss Federal Council. Transfers to the United States rely on the provider's certification under the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses with the supplementary measures required.

You may ask for access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest; where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing. Use the Personal data request page (/data-request) or write to privacy[at]lifelike.ch. We answer within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you are in the EU/EEA, with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
